Why bathe a cat? They spend most of their day taking care of that themselves. All seems rather cruel, but the pictures are funny lol.

  • Anonymous

Poor babies!!! The 5th one looks like she’s saying, “Why do you hate me? I didn’t do anything!”
I had to bathe 3 kittens because of ring worm. Talk about a circus. And their mother on the other side of the door wondering what was happening to her babies, and calling to them.

Cats don’t need baths except in unusual circumstances, for instance if they should get in car oil or some substance that is bad for their health. They do daily bathing on their own. Cats are amazed by running water, just don’t need to get in the old tub.

WOW, BUT WHY??? I have had my cats for 10 years. They have these magic things called TONGUES that they use to clean themselves with!

I know americans declaw cats (SO CRUEL) but do they now de-tongue them aswell?

    Amazed from the UK!!!!!!!

Cruel- cats do not need to be bathed

  • Anonymous

This is cruel – cats hate water and there’s absolutely no need to put them through this. “Wet Cats” -Get a life.

Cats don’t need a bath…are you hygene freeks with OCD – they clean themselves. As long as you brush them, they are fine! Should be titled ‘Cruelty to cats’ not ‘Wet Cats’

  • Anonymous

well yeah, cats do not necessarily “need” a bath. but it’s actually good for their skin, etc, and reduces dander and allergens (for people w/ allergies). it’s just water. it won’t hurt them. and they appear more unhappy than they actually are.

  • Anonymous

this is stupid.. a little funny, but its still cruelty.

  • Anonymous

some of these baths were prolly unnecessary, but I have had many kitties over the years…some of them have had to be bathed with anti-flea shampoos, etc. (this was before those flea pills or shots were popular).

  • Anonymous

cruelty? it’s not cruel – ITS JUST WATER. kids have baths, and kids cry. should we stop cleaning our children because they sound unhappy? if your cat is dirty, CLEAN IT. with water. loads of water. fuck the haters – cleaning cats rules.

  • Anonymous

Ya all should stick all that fuckin water up yer ass instead of wetting those goddamn kitties…

But then again…do faggots like you have available space on their anus?

  • Miss Faloola Chong

    Ahh cute wet pussies…

  • Anonymous

How cruel! If the cat is dirty and can’t clean itself fast enough then do what I do, get down on all fours and start licking. My cat loves it and yours will to.

Also if it’s got something like oil of some sort that is hard to get off the best way to get rid of it without a bath is to do what I do, I’ll drop my pants and start to pee on her and when you do that make sure to rub it in the fur in circular motions really well so it breaks it up. Also make sure you have someone help you to cover your cat’s eyes so they don’t burn.

My poor cat sat on his own poo some days ago, so I had to bathe him. I don’t see any cruelty in that…

  • carolann

Truly the dignity of the animal is in it’s lovely (dry) fur, and they know it!

  • Anonymous

    sadistic & unfair.

  • Anonymous

It’s just water; the cats are fine. Why would you consider bathing a cat cruelty? Dogs get baths and no one’s bitching about that. Morons.

  • Anonymous

What a negative view of humanity, to assume that the owners of the cats are not doing it out of love and a perceived necessity. At a glance the animal is ferociously angry, giving the caretaker a difficult and probably painful job. My initial assumption is that the cats have some medical need that the owner is meeting, and the comical reactions of the snimals are just incidental to the endeavor. Havenpt you seen stray cats with diseases to the hide? Now, there’s cruel neglect.

  • Anonymous

my bet is that the cat or cats will be wondering why it/they is/are feeling extraordinarily fine and dandy after that shocking initial bath. And that it will then be looking forward to the next one.

I agree with the person who observed that some people have such a negative view of humanity. Why would he or she spend precious time if he or she doesn’t care?

I was revolted by the advice, whether it was intended to be humorous, in which case, it was worse, to pee on the cat. That is really sad.

I bow down humbly in the prenscee of such greatness.
